Expand allDay 01- ARRIVAL IN LEH - ACCLIMATIZATION AND LOCAL CHARM
Upon your arrival in Leh, the breathtaking high altitude landscapes welcome you. After settling into your hotel, take a leisurely stroll through the vibrant Leh Market, immersing yourself in the rich local culture. Indulge in Ladakhi cuisine for lunch, savoring the unique flavors of the region. In the afternoon, visit the iconic Shanti Stupa, perched on a hill, offering panoramic views of Leh and a serene atmosphere. As the evening descends, witness the sun setting over the valley, casting a warm glow on the majestic surroundings.
Day 02 - LEH TO NUBRA VALLEY
After breakfast, embark on a scenic drive to the enchanting Nubra Valley, crossing the world's highest motorable pass, Khardung La. Marvel at the stunning vistas of the Karakoram Range as you descend into the valley. Upon reaching Hunder, a charming village nestled amidst sand dunes, check into your accommodation. In the afternoon, enjoy a camel safari amidst the double-humped Bactrian camels and explore the picturesque surroundings. Spend the night in Hunder, camping under the starlit sky.
Day 03 - NUBRA VALLEY TO PANGONG LAKE
After breakfast, bid farewell to Hunder and drive towards the mesmerizing Pangong Lake. En route, pass through the picturesque villages of Shayok and Durbuk, offering breathtaking views of the Himalayas. Upon reaching Pangong Lake, marvel at its azure waters and the surrounding snow-capped peaks. Spend the afternoon exploring the serene shores of the lake and capturing stunning photographs. Spend the night camping near Pangong Lake, gazing at the starry sky
Day 04 - PANGONG TO LEH
Return to Leh in the morning, with the journey taking you through diverse terrains. Explore the cultural gems of Thiksey Monastery and Shey Palace in the afternoon, each offering a unique blend of spirituality and history. The giant gold-plated statue of Buddha at Shey Monastery is a must-see. Spend the evening in Leh, either relaxing in the serene surroundings or dining at a local restaurant, savoring Ladakhi flavors.
Day 05 - DROP TO LEH AIRPORT
After breakfast, it's time to bid farewell to the enchanting land of Ladakh. You'll be transferred to the Leh airport for your onward journey, carrying with you cherished memories of your 7 nights and 8 days adventure through the stunning landscapes and the vibrant cultures of Ladakh.
