Muscat offers the visitor a unique opportunity to witness a modern commercial Centre existing in harmony with its traditional culture. Start your tour exploring the Muscat Fish Market in Muttrah which is quite an experience. Proceed for a tour of the Grand Mosque (except Friday). The dress code for the Mosque-Ladies is to be fully covered and to carry a long head scarf and men in full-length trousers. The mosque is a wonder of modern architecture and is a fusion of Omani, Islamic, and Middle Eastern architectural styles. On the outskirts of Muscat, we drive to visit the House of Amouage (Not open on Fridays and Saturdays). Visit Royal Opera House Muscat (except Friday). A towering beacon shedding light on the various trends of the Renaissance march towards growth. Lunch at a local restaurant (Omani Cuisine) Not permitted to serve Alcohol. Afternoon, proceed for a visit to the Bait Al Zubair Museum (except Friday) is a brief introduction that traces Oman’s history and development. Drive along the waterfront Corniche visiting the colorful Muttrah Souq. We proceed for a photo stop to the magnificent Al Alam Palace, the official palace of His Majesty flanked by the 16^th-century Portuguese forts Mirani & Jalali. Drop off at Muscat Hotel. Proceed to the Seeb Fishing village located by the seaside. Later drive through the date palms and stop at the Nakhl springs and enjoy a walk through the village with its date palms and Falaj system. At the springs one can observe the local folk. Photo stop of Nakhl Fort perched on a rocky outcrop. Proceed onwards to Wadi Hoqain for its stunning water springs and ever-flowing waterfalls throughout the year. Wadi Hoqain is an iconic wadi in Oman for spending a relaxing leisure time, picnic venue, and above all else, swimming. (Picnic lunch included at Wadi Hoqain). Enroute to Muscat visit Al-Hazm Fort an Islamic fort located in Al Batinah South Governorate Oman. The fort was built by Imam Sultan bin Saif II in the early 18th century AD. 1100 Hrs.: Pick up from your hotel in Muscat and drive to Wadi Bani Khalid which comprises small pretty villages embedded in the mountains. The Wadi has clear deep blue water pools. (It is advisable to wear light comfortable clothing and walking shoes). Proceed towards the Wahiba Sands a vast area of undulating red and white sea of sand dunes and enjoy dune driving in the desert for a unique experience. Enjoy a sunset over the dunes and don’t forget to capture the beautiful moments of the sunset before making your way back to the Hotel. (Dress code: Men and women should wear a t-shirt and shorts up to knee length when swimming in Wadis). Swimming at Wadis is at your own risk. Duration: 09 Hours – 550 Km By 4WD
