Expand allDAY 1: ARRIVE TO PORT BLAIR
On arrival at Port Blair airport, our representative will receive and be escorted to the hotel. After check-in at the hotel and relaxing a little, we proceed to cover Cellular Jail (National Memorial),and after evening, we move for the Light and Sound Show at Cellular Jail where the saga of the freedom struggle is brought alive.
The Cellular Jail has a pride of place in India’s freedom struggle. Many stalwarts were imprisoned here. Declared a national memorial, this three-storey prison constructed by Britishers in 1906, is a pilgrimage destination for freedom fighters. This colossal edifice has mutely witnessed the most treacherous of inhumane atrocities borne by the convicts, who were mostly freedom fighters. The day draws to a gentle close with the Sound and Light Show at the historic Cellular Jail which gives you a vivid experience of its strong association with the freedom fighters and their struggle for independence.
DAY 2: PORT BLAIR – ROSS ISLAND – NORTH BAY ISLAND (Coral Island)
Today, after breakfast we will proceed for a full day cruising towards Ross Island & North Bay(Coral Island).First we starts the exhilarating journey (by boat) to Ross Island (Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Dweep) the erstwhile capital of Port Blair during the British regime, it now stands an imposing relic, with the structure almost in debris. A small museum displays photographs and other antiques of the Britishers, relevant to these Islands.From Ross Island, we proceed for a joyful trip to North Bay island (Coral Island) offering exotic coral, colourful fishes and underwater marine life. We can view these colourful corals & underwater marine life.
DAY 3: PORT BLAIR – CITY TOUR - CORBYN’S COVE BEACH
Today after breakfast, the day starts with a tour of Port Blair city which includes Chatham saw mill (the oldest and biggest mill in Asia), Forest Museum, Samudrika (Naval Marine Museum),
and Anthropological Museum, which displays the tools, models, habitats, art and handcrafts of the aboriginal tribes of Andaman & Nicobar Islands. Later we proceed to Corbyn's Cove beach, a beautiful beach surrounded with Coconut Palms and crystal clear blue sea. The beach is also famous for water sports activities like Seakart, Parasailing, Jet Ski rides etc
DAY 4: DEPART FROM ANDAMAN ISLANDS
Check out from the hotel and head to the airport for your journey back home, with memories of the mesmerizing Andaman and Nicobar Islands.
