Itinerary
Expand allDAY 1 : IXB Airport/ NJP Rly Station – Gangtok (125 kms /5 Hours)
Meet & Greet on arrival at Bagdogra Airport / New Jalpaiguri Railway Station(NJP) / Tenzing Norgay. Bus Stand (Junction) – He will be assisting for the transfer to Gangtok – Gangtok the capital of Sikkim. Suits all from tranquillity to adventure, land of monastery, mystic rituals & Festivals at an height of 1670 meters/5480 feet and is the most visited spot of India. It is one of the most beautiful towns with varieties of Rhododendron, Orchids and butterflies – Nearly 125 kms 4 ½ to 5 Hours drive. On arrival check-in to your hotel and rest for the day. Overnight stay at Gangtok.
DAY 2: Gangtok sightseeing – Darjeeling (98 kms /4.3 hrs)
This morning, after breakfast, local sightseeing covering Flower show, Cottage Industry and Handicraft Centre, Institute of Tibetology, Dro-dulChorten, Banjhakri waterfall. Later transfer to
Darjeeling. On arrival check into your hotel. Overnight stay at Darjeeling
DAY 3: Mirik Excursion
After breakfast enjoy a full day excursion trip to Mirik Lake (4,900 ft.) via Indo-Nepal Border, Extra vehicle charges will be applicable for Nepal Border to Pashupati Market. Mirik is famous for its man made Sumendu Lake, Cardamom plantations and Tea Estates. One can do Horse Riding & Boating on a direct payment basis in the lake. In the evening return to the hotel. DAY 4: Darjeeling Sightseeing + Toy train ( ticket by own )
Early Morning (at 04:00 am) drive to Tiger hill to watch the spectacular sunrise over Mt.Khangchendzongha (28,208 ft. Worlds 3rd highest peak), on your way back visit Ghoom Monastery and Batasia Loop. After breakfast visit Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, P.N. Zoological Park (Thursday closed), Tenzing Rock, Tibetan Refugee self-help Centre (Sunday closed), Tea Garden (Chitray outer view), Ropeway and Japanese Temple & Toy train at 11:30 Am. Overnight stay at Darjeeling.
DAY 5: Darjeeling – IXB Airport / NJP Rly Station (75 kms/ 3 hrs)
After breakfast pick up from the hotel and transfer to Bagdogra Airport / NJP Rly Station for your onward journey. The tour ends here.
